Set at 2100 Biscayne Boulevard is the architectural jewel known as the Bacardi Building. The tropical and elegant blue and white mosaics on the north and south faces are a representation of our surrounding paradise. This tower is so named because it served as headquarters of Bacardi USA. In 2012 it was placed on the list of “Florida Architecture: 100 Years.” On this night I did not explore or photograph the plaza, which I’ve seen in the daylight, but it prominently displays the Bacardi logo in its floor. If you’re ever in this area, stop by and let your eyes have fun exploring art and color of this facility’s architecture.
